I almost set this to Billy Thorpe - Children Of The Sun
It would have been cut a little different with respect to the 500's appearance in order to get the timing right .o0(Added 2:32.3 seconds of flight).

If you get the timing right, the page flip transition (0:34.5) from 500 landing to 600 take off will align with the first note of the bass guitar as it enters the the path to the bridge in the song (2:32.3)...

Too much work? Maybe I'll do that edit later.
In the mean while, it is a great song, enjoy.

I talked to shadowvex today and it appears he is still intending to persue this project. Clearly if we are going to pull this project off, we are going to need original ideas for layout and functionality. If you have ideas about content delivery for this system or layout and art ideas, please comment here or send them in.

I believe you are failing to see the possibilities of having Kappos in this position. We are not talking about corporate rule of America. That is another subject entirely.
What we are talking about is having someone who is open source minded heading the patent office. This is good for technological advancement in the open source world.
Having said that, as a side note, I expect to see a lot more exposure of the open source community, not only based on this, but further and maybe more importantly by Google's Chrome.
It will be nice to see a company in the US put some corporate dollars behind open source. The only way it is ever going to find it's place on the desktop is if it gets exposure. Google is known for it's ads. They are everywhere. Imagine how much more aware the point and click community of windows users is going to become with Google standing behind open source putting money into ad campaigns. Before Ubuntu, most of the folks I have talked to had never heard of linux.
Do we really want to leave the megalith that is Microsoft in the position to decide what is best for us, or do we want the alternate voice we see in Google and IBM's Kappos to sing in the choir of tux heads that try to hold this ever fragmenting community together?
